Duduk (aka Mey) The Duduk or Mey, is a Turkish folk instrument of the wind type. Made from Plum wood, it has a sound similar to a clarinet or alto-sax. I found it to be easier to play than the Zurna, and it has a more subtile sound that works well in a group setting. It consists of three parts . Ana Gövde (main part), Kamis (reed) and Kiskac (clip). The clips mounted to the end of the reed and can be pushed up and down on the reed thus enabling tuning by providing one note variation in the sound.
